Little Women Memphis Theatre reviews

In general, this performance was fantastic. The piano and Little Women were the highlights for me, despite his annoyance over having to play a Yamaha. Little Women excels at improvising songs, as demonstrated during this show. The audience interaction was impressive, with three songs featuring participation. Little Women also praised the crowd for their musicality. The show included a humorous moment when he attempted a cover but forgot the lyrics, prompting a guest singer from the audience. Little Women reminisced about past performances, including a memorable encounter with a coat check/soft drinks sign. Overall, the energy was high and the crowd responded well.
One aspect that left me unsatisfied was the sound quality. Throughout the performance, the piano sounded distorted in the mid-range, detracting from the overall experience. Despite the simplicity of mixing one vocal and one piano, there seemed to be technical difficulties. While the issue may not have been noticeable to all attendees, it stood out to those more attuned to musical details like myself.
